A small, native, understory tree/shrub with four-season interest. The early white spring flowers, outstanding orange-red fall color, and striking gray bark make it a lovely specimen for any landscape. The edible purplish-black fruit in late summer is attractive to many birds. May reach 15-25 feet height. Prefers partial sun/shade. Zones 4-8.
NOTE: Shrubs arrive in bundles of 25 seedlings that are aprox. 18-24 inches tall. Shrubs are NOT full-sized upon pick-up. Photos show full-sized examples of the species.
